The biggest challenges can often be weather-related. Although we take every precaution to prepare it’s possible that you might end up cycling in wet clothes for long distances.
One of the big limiting factors is space, you will be limited by how much you can carry on your bike. often luxury items have to be left behind in favour of practical equipment.
If it does rain we will be putting up our shelters in the bad weather. And an early night when it’s pouring is a real possibility. For some, this might not be their idea of fun.
At times it will be challenging but it will give you a unique experience and prepare you for future adventure cycling trips
